Could I Be Pregnant?
Are you wondering if you’re pregnant? There are some telltale signs that may indicate you are. A lot can happen during the first trimester, so it is important that you test for pregnancy as soon as possible.
Signs of pregnancy include:
– Swollen, tender breasts
– Nausea with or without vomiting
– Missed period
– Mood swings
Should I Get a Pregnancy Test?
If you have any of the symptoms above, it is best to confirm your pregnancy with a medical-grade pregnancy test. At Elevate Pregnancy and Family Resource Center, we offer pregnancy testing at no cost to you, so you can be sure that you have a place to go to find out.
What Should I Do After Taking a Pregnancy Test?
If your test is positive, you may be thinking that you don’t need to do anything else. This is actually not true; it is crucial to get an obstetric ultrasound, which will give you important information about your pregnancy. For example, ultrasounds can check for your gestational age, or how far along you are. They can also determine the location of your pregnancy. Some women experience ectopic pregnancy, which occurs when a fertilized egg is implanted somewhere other then the uterus. Oftentimes, it implants in one of the fallopian tubes.
